In-House Design & Engineering

AutoCAD plans, 24×36 plotted drawings, permit and submittal packages, and AHJ coordination from concept to completion.

What we deliver

  • New-building life-safety system design
  • System upgrades for existing properties
  • Tenant build-out drawings and coordination
  • Permit and submittal packages
  • AHJ coordination and design changes

Most low-voltage failures don't start in the field. They start on the drawing. Maritech's in-house design team produces full AutoCAD plan sets — riser diagrams, device layouts, battery and voltage-drop calculations, and 24×36 plotted submittal drawings — built around the building you're actually constructing, not a generic template.

Every plan set is drawn in-house by engineers who also know how the system installs in the field.

We coordinate directly with architects, GCs, MEP engineers, and the AHJ so device counts, conduit pathways, and code paths line up before the first hole gets drilled. That coordination is what keeps permit cycles short and change orders rare.

Designer reviewing a CAD floor-plan layout on a large monitor
Device-level floor plans reviewed against the architectural set before submittal.
Hand sketching a building elevation transitioning into a rendered architectural view
From concept sketch to permit-ready drawings — one team, one model, one source of truth.

For complex projects we model the system in 3D against the structural and architectural backgrounds so conflicts surface in the drawing — not at rough-in.

3D CAD model of a building sitting on top of rolled construction blueprints
3D models tied back to the stamped construction set.
Structural 3D model of a multi-story building overlaid on engineering drawings
Structural-aware routing for risers, conduit, and devices.
Architectural rendering of a modern residence transitioning from sketch to finished build
From rendering to ribbon-cutting — life-safety design that follows the project all the way to occupancy.
Architectural renderings of a residential building exterior and interior kitchen
Mixed-use, residential, and commercial — we design to the occupancy and the code path.
Bring us in early

The earlier we're on the design team, the fewer surprises at rough-in, inspection, and turnover. Send us your set and we'll mark it up.
